This picture was kindly sent to us from a neighbour who lives directly behind the hotel.  After the heavy rain and 45 mph winds that has hit the area, mother nature blessed Fowey with this tranquil and beautiful sunset.  It's hard to believe that only the day before the sea was wild with huge angry waves rolling in from the English Channel - quite a difference.
 
If the bad weather was to come at all, it was better that it arrived here last week and not this weekend due to the Fowey Christmas Market starting on Friday 30th November until Sunday 2nd December.  Thankfully, the weekend is forecast to now be generally clear and dry!  Perfect for interesting and unusual gift shopping and getting into the festive mood.  Can you believe it.... in 4 weeks time it will be Boxing day!!!
