Longest Zip Wire In England at the Eden Project
The longest zip wire in England opens this Saturday at Cornwall’s Eden Project, measuring a massive 660 meters! Previously the record was held by the Adrenaline Quarry, measuring 490 meters in length.
The Eden Project is home to the world famous ‘biomes’, that house a fast range of exotic plant life, and are one of Cornwall’s most popular tourist attractions.
Visitors to the popular Cornish attraction, which is best known for its giant “biomes” that house a variety of exotic plants, will be able to ride the zip wire from Saturday.
Costing just £5 in addition to a park ticket this is sure to be a hit with adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers alike.
Gaynor Coley, the Eden Project’s chief executive, was one of the first to use it during an inauguration ceremony. She was joined by circus performer Marco Fiera, who took to the zip wire on a Penny Farthing bicycle.
