A second rosette for Spinnakers at The Fowey Hotel
Following an AA inspection last week, Spinnakers Restaurant has regained its second and well deserved, AA rosette.
The team at The Fowey Hotel have been working hard to regain the accolade and the restaurant itself has been quietly building on its hard earned reputation.
General Manager, Chris Bailey-Lewis, commented “Mark and his team have worked so hard not just for this recognition but to ensure that Spinnakers delivers what the diner wants every single time. We’re delighted with the second rosette and plan to continue pursuing excellence throughout the restaurant and hotel.”
Mark Griffiths, Head Chef of Spinnakers, has been with The Fowey Hotel for 14 years and comments “I’m truly proud of my team. Their all home grown and so to get this accolade is a great reflection on each and every one and of our in-house training so it’s very important to us.” Mark added “We concentrate on the basics, fantastic ingredients, all locally sourced, grown or landed whenever we can, so that we deliver a great plate of Cornish cuisine. Presentation is also important to us.. afterall you eat with your eyes first.”
